Laurelwood Care Center at Elkton, located close to the Susquehanna River, is a 100-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in acute care recovery. Our staff is dedicated to the resident’s quality of life and committed to helping residents maintain meaningful, active lives. This facility has an array of comprehensive programs including certified wound care; speech, occupational, and physical therapy 5 days a week; a diabetes management and education program; annual Hall of Fame Café; Quality of Life activities program; Chaplain Program; and an active Volunteer Program. Laurelwood Care Center is located only ¼ mile from Union Hospital and downtown Elkton. The city of Elkton is conveniently situated between the cities of Philadelphia and Baltimore.
